Job Context:
∎ The Leprosy Mission International-Bangladesh (TLMI-B) is a member of The Leprosy Mission (TLM) Global Fellowship which is an International Christian faith-based organization, committed to changing the lives of persons affected by leprosy. TLMI-B is working in Bangladesh since 1991 as a partner of the Government of Bangladesh to eliminate the cause and consequences of leprosy to achieve its vision “leprosy defeated, lives transformed”. Also, it works for the social rehabilitation of people affected by leprosy, disability, and social exclusion. Currently, TLMI-B invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates for its program ‘Danish Bangladesh Leprosy Mission(DBLM) Hospital Program’ to fulfill the following position immediately.
∎ Nature of Job: Contractual (1 year)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ A. Review Of The Current System
∎ Review what is currently in place and analyze issues with the current systems
∎ Work closely with DBLM Hospital program to capture business requirements for new system
∎ Research alternative options that will bring the necessary improvements
∎ Create a quarterly report outlining all the possible and best options for the upgrade(any time)
∎ With appropriate approval, identify and arrange the purchase of new hardware and software
∎ B. Implementation Of The New System
∎ Work with other professionals to ensure the appropriate hardware and software are installed in a timely
∎ manner
∎ Install Cabling, Switch management, Network troubleshooting, Router configuration, Understanding of
∎ networking systems, such as LAN, and WAN and other
∎ Identify any problem areas and troubleshoot as issues arise
∎ Support DBLM staff and other relevant stakeholders with training in the new systems
∎ Ensure a smooth transition and accurate data transfer during the upgrade
∎ Ensure migration of relevant data from the manual system to the computerized system
∎ Ensure daily data backup
∎ C. Ongoing Support Of The New System
∎ Monitor and evaluate HMIS system performance, ensure the HMIS database is secure and not over
∎ capacity.
∎ Ensure all services provided by the system are optimized by identifying improvement opportunities.
∎ Provide HMIS support as necessary
∎ Document HMIS processes and system upgrade procedures.
∎ Regularly report to line manager and senior leadership regarding HMIS activities.
∎ Keep up to date with changes in HMIS standards and best practices
∎ Train-up potential staff of DBLM Hospital in managing the HMIS
∎ Any other relevant/special task bestowed upon by the Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Technical expertise regarding Cabling experience, Switch management, Network troubleshooting all essential skills
∎ Relevant work experience of 3+ years of HMIS and at least 1+ years supporting users on Ubuntu/ Linux based servers.
∎ Need to have evidence of install and run Ubuntu/windows
∎ Experience to work with Teamviewer/Anydesk for remote support
∎ Demonstrably computer proficient, numerate and adept at learning new and complex software applications
∎ Ability to communicate complex information to a non-technical audience
∎ Ability to build constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
∎ Ability to manage external agencies, partners and freelancers
∎ Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point, outlook, knowledge on server-side, client-side programme language
∎ Good verbal and writing skills in Bangla and English
∎ Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
∎ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Salary:
∎ Monthly Consoliadated Salary BDT 31,992.00
