The IT Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient IT operations for both local and remote employees of the organization. The role focuses on monitoring employee devices and networks, creating and managing email access, responding to IT support requests, and enforcing compliance standards. The officer will play a critical role in safeguarding digital assets while supporting smooth day-to-day operations. This is a contractual, part-time role requiring 10–15 hours per week.

1. Regularly monitor employee devices through Hubstaff (including activity screenshots) and notify employees and stakeholders of unproductive behavior or deviations.

2. Check Wi-Fi and networks for unregistered devices used by employees.

3. Create and manage official email access for employees, ensuring timely activation and removal as required.

4. Maintain and oversee the official IT support email, ensuring timely responses, redirections, and follow-ups.

5. Respond to IT support requests and provide quick resolutions or escalations where needed.

6. Provide recommendations for risk mitigation, process improvement, and compliance with organizational IT standards.

7. Ensure IT security policies are upheld across the organization.
