- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is must.
- Good computer knowledge.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good in planning and analytical skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
Update database regularly by monitoring and evaluating supplier`s performance in terms of price and quality.
Ensure proper inventory management and periodic stock evaluation.
Ensure timely delivery of the requested materials and adequate supply of all required materials, components and equipment.
Correspondence with the suppliers and shipping agents to update shipment status.
Maintain regular communication & liaise in between Suppliers & Commercial Department to congregate ETD, ETA, original shipping documents (Import) etc. to ensure prompt customs clearance and delivery.
To ensure all commercial activities (e.g., issuance of PI, L/C amendment, correction of L/C terms and conditions according to Bangladesh Bank rules & regulations, shipment conditions, negotiation to buyers and sellers, payment realization etc.) through overseas phone and e-mail.
Co-ordinate with C&F agents, freight forwarders and transport.
Ensure procedure of proper due diligence required by Brands and certifying bodies maintaining proper traceability.
