• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.

• Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and data analysis.

• Familiarity with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Strong communication, both oral and written, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.

• Problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 

• Supervise, train, and evaluate plant personnel.

• Create daily work schedules and delegate tasks based on workload and priorities.

• Ensure all staff members are properly trained and follow safety procedures.

• Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and procurement. 

• Ensure the final products meet quality and specification standards.

• Monitor production targets and implement strategies to optimize plant performance.

• Develop and implement new washing techniques and recipes, including chemical usage and sampling.

• Oversee bulk washes, finishing, and sampling processes. 

• Perform and/or schedule regular maintenance checks and repairs on plant equipment to minimize downtime.

• Ensure the plant operates in compliance with safety, environmental, and other relevant regulations.

• Manage inventory for chemicals, parts, and supplies, and ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals.

• Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance activities, and safety incidents.
