Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and data analysis.
Familiarity with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Strong communication, both oral and written, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
Problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context:
Supervise, train, and evaluate plant personnel.
Create daily work schedules and delegate tasks based on workload and priorities.
Ensure all staff members are properly trained and follow safety procedures.
Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and procurement.
Ensure the final products meet quality and specification standards.
Monitor production targets and implement strategies to optimize plant performance.
Develop and implement new washing techniques and recipes, including chemical usage and sampling.
Oversee bulk washes, finishing, and sampling processes.
Perform and/or schedule regular maintenance checks and repairs on plant equipment to minimize downtime.
Ensure the plant operates in compliance with safety, environmental, and other relevant regulations.
Manage inventory for chemicals, parts, and supplies, and ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals.
Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance activities, and safety incidents.
