Shade Matching

• Oversee the shade matching process to ensure color accuracy and consistency.

• Conduct lab dips and shade trials to achieve the desired color.

• Work closely with the color master and lab technicians to ensure precise color matching.

• Address any shade variation issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Machine Operation and Maintenance

• Ensure the efficient operation of all dyeing machines.

• Monitor machine performance and conduct regular maintenance checks.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any machine-related issues promptly.

• Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule and oversee machine repairs and servicing.

Production Management

• Plan and manage dyeing schedules to meet production targets.

• Allocate resources and manpower efficiently to optimize production output.

• Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Maintain accurate records of production data, machine usage, and dye consumption.

Quality Control

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high-quality dyeing.

• Inspect dyed fabrics for color consistency, uniformity, and defects.

• Address any quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Coordination and Communication

• Liaise with the production planning team to align dyeing schedules with overall production plans.

• Communicate effectively with other departments, including the knitting and finishing teams, to ensure smooth workflow.

• Provide regular updates to the Dyeing Manager on production status, machine performance, and quality issues.

Team Management

• Supervise and train dyeing operators and technicians.

• Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure adherence to production schedules.

• Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork and continuous improvement.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dyeing department.

• Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits.

• Promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
