Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are looking for competent personnel for the post of "In-charge, Embroidery" for a LEED certified garments manufacturer. The incumbent must have initiative, experience & the drive to deliver high-quality results in embroidery production unit.
∎ Plan and oversee the entire embroidery production process, ensuring that orders are completed on time and meet the required quality standards.
∎ Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, machinery, and materials, to maximize productivity.
∎ Monitor production schedules, adjust as necessary, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
∎ Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet company and client specifications.
∎ Regularly review and improve processes to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
∎ Supervise, train, and motivate a team of machine operators, designers, and support staff.
∎ Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
∎ Ensure a safe and positive work environment, adhering to compliance regulations.
∎ Manage inventory levels of raw materials, threads, fabrics, and other supplies to prevent shortages and delays.
∎ Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
∎ Prepare and manage the factory's budget, monitoring expenses to stay within financial targets.
∎ Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or efficiency.
∎ Liaise with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates on order status, and ensure customer satisfaction.
∎ Maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure a steady supply of materials.
∎ Stay updated with the latest embroidery techniques, machinery, and industry trends.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise in the production process.
∎ Prepare regular reports on production, quality, costs, and other key metrics for senior management.
∎ Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
