Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Masters' degree from any reputed University. (Candidates having Insurance related degree or BIA Diploma is preferred)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To look after company's Claims related activities as an In-charge/ Head of Claim department of the company.
∎ Strong decision making & analytical capabilities & higher level of Management skill along with preparing and delivery of report as per requirement of the Board of Directors'/Management.
∎ To deal/correspondence & monitoring with local and foreign clients/organization.
∎ Preparation of all papers for Claim Committee Meeting/ Board Meeting.
∎ To maintain effective working relationships with law enforcement agencies & Sadharon Bima Corporation.
∎ Ensuring a fair settlement of claim through monitoring the progress of the claims.
∎ Review and analysis of all required documents to ensure that claim settlements are paid accurately and on a timely manner.
∎ Making sure that claims are dealt with according to relevant Insurance laws/other laws.
∎ Strong Knowledge on re-insurance recovery.
∎ Capable to handle all classes (Fire, Marine, Motor & Misc.) of Claims.
∎ Willingness to visit or supervision of claim affected areas frequently as and when required.
∎ To select qualified surveyors for assessment of loss.
∎ Good underwriting knowledge of all classes of General Insurance.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ The applicants should have minimum 10 (ten) years' experience in Claims department of reputed General Insurance Companies. (Minimum 5 years' experience as In-charge is preferred)
∎ Should be honest, trustworthy and hard working
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, influencing ability & an approachable working style to the needs of the organization.
∎ Strong communication skills in Bangla and English
∎ Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) is essential.
∎ Should be capable to work as individual or in team.
