Experience:
MBA/M.Com in Finance or Accounting from a reputed Public university with Completion of CA Professional Level.
BIA Diploma or other professional qualifications in Insurance, Finance or Management will be an added advantage.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts in a reputed General Insurance Company out of which at least 5 years of experience as Head of Finance & Accounts, CFO, Deputy CFO or in a similar leadership position.
Good knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, banking, treasury and regulatory compliance.
Experience in dealing with IDRA, NBR, VAT authorities, auditors and banks is essential
Sound knowledge of Insurance, Company, Tax and VAT laws, and IAS/IFRS.
Strong leadership, analytical and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, computerized accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Good communication skills in both Bangla and English.
Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
Honest, responsible and committed to maintaining confidentiality.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the overall Finance & Accounts Department of the Company.
Manage all accounting, financial and treasury activities efficiently.
Prepare annual financial statements and ensure compliance with IAS, IFRS and other applicable laws and regulations.
Prepare budgets, financial forecasts and management reports for the Management and Board of Directors.
Monitor cash flow, banking operations, investments and overall financial performance.
Ensure proper accounting records, financial reporting and internal financial controls.
Oversee VAT, Tax and all statutory compliance and maintain liaison with the relevant authorities.
Coordinate with external and internal auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
Maintain effective communication with IDRA, NBR, banks, auditors and other regulatory bodies.
Monitor branch expenses, premium collection and financial discipline.
Analyze financial results and provide recommendations for improving profitability and business performance.
Support business operations by providing timely financial advice and information to all departments.
Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team to achieve departmental goals.
Ensure effective use of computerized accounting systems and support digital financial processes.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Management or Board of Directors.
