  • Ideally not exceeding 55 years as on the date of application (relaxable for exceptionally deserving candidates).

  • Should be smart, honest, trustworthy and hard working.

  • Strong network within the corporate, banking, and industrial sectors of Bangladesh.

  • Excellent writing skills, influencing ability & an approachable working style to the needs of the organization.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and public‑speaking abilities in both English and Bengali.

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

Global Insurance PLC, a reputed fast growing publicly listed General Insurance Company of the country is looking for visionary marketing leader who can blend deep industry insight with modern brand‑building and digital transformation.

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing, business development, and growth strategy aligned with the Company's vision, strategic objectives, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Provide dynamic leadership and strategic direction, leveraging extensive knowledge and experience in the insurance industry to drive sustainable business growth and operational excellence.

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all prevailing laws, rules, regulations, and regulatory directives governing General Insurance Business and ensure full compliance across all operations.

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a large workforce, including business development personnel, to achieve corporate targets, enhance productivity, and expand the Company's business portfolio.

  • Identify emerging business opportunities, explore new market segments, and formulate innovative strategies to increase market share and premium income.

  • Formulate, implement, and monitor business policies, strategic initiatives, and operational plans to achieve the Company's short-term and long-term objectives.

  • Strengthen and promote the Company's corporate image and brand value through integrated marketing initiatives, digital engagement, public relations activities, and effective stakeholder management.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making capabilities; prepare and present high-quality reports, strategic papers, and business analyses for the Board of Directors and Management as required.

  • Maintain effective communication, coordination, and correspondence with local and international clients, business partners, and organizations.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, including the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA), reinsurers, industry associations, corporate clients, and other key stakeholders; represent the Company at national and international forums, conferences, and industry events.

  • Ensure that the Company's products and services meet the highest standards of quality, competitiveness, and regulatory compliance.

  • Identify potential business and operational risks and develop appropriate risk management and mitigation strategies to safeguard the interests, reputation, and long-term sustainability of the Company.

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Board of Directors or Management from time to time in the best interest of the Company.
