Job Context:
∎ Hong Kong based Garments & Buying House for dedicated services to European and Scandinavian brand
∎ The candidate, who does not have the skills on fluent English both in Reading & Writing need not apply. Aforementioned post requires the genuinely experienced candidate, otherwise please refrain from applying.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Order allocation in sewing lines based on SMV on a regular basis
∎ Need to have a clear idea about Sew Free process/ seam sealing,
∎ Submit monthly & season-wise Floor sewing production plan to the Superior
∎ Maintain proper communication with central planning
∎ Shipment wise operations (fabric, print, cutting, input, output) progress follow up
∎ Communication with fabric, print planning team and production team sometimes.
∎ Attend Meeting with other teams to coordinate the production
∎ Should have good negotiation skill to represent the plan to production management.
∎ Should have good communication with merchandisers and also for pre-production activities and shipment.
∎ The Candidate need to expertise on Jacket, Skiwear, Seam Sealed garments
∎ Apply statistical methods to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards and to Plan layout of machines and lines to get the highest productivity.
∎ Monitor the layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to achieve maximum efficiency;
∎ Analysis of low production & collect lost time against low production and clarify.
∎ Monitor line wise production report by hourly output basis.
∎ Study individual operator's performance and train them.
∎ Coordinate with Sewing Line chief and Line Supervisors for line feeding & related task
∎ Ensure proper utilization of man, machine & material for smooth Productivity.
∎ Prepare monthly production & efficiency report, machine break down report etc.
∎ Have to prepare day to day report to Management.
∎ Follow up on the sampling status regularly to meet deadline and accurate samples
∎ Communicates about development status with concern Product developer/Merchandiser/ Designer
∎ Prepares sample delivery status
∎ Monitors sample execution
∎ Preserves sample data and utilize it while going for bulk production
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5-7 years depending on the position
