Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree in relevant area desirable).
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years relevant professional experience. Experience in ICT based project intervention, communications will be considered as an added valued.
∎ Demonstrated strength in writing report and developing knowledge and communications products.
∎ Demonstrated understanding of gender and women's empowerment.
∎ Experience of program design and development desirable.
∎ Knowledge on video and photo editing platforms, web application, apps and other related software.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Strong technical leadership on communications, knowledge management and media relations, able to build relationships with different project-based teams
∎ Pro-active and participatory decision-making and problem-solving
∎ Good conceptual understanding of development strategies and approaches
∎ Multi-tasking ability to integrate various perspectives in a strategic way
∎ Stress tolerance and positive coping strategies.
∎ Ensure and Promote GEDI and be GEDI sensitive, creating an enabling environment where diversity can flourish and all staff and stakeholders experience inclusion and appreciation.
Salary:
∎ Attractive remuneration package will be offered to the really deserving candidate.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ The Consultant will be paid on monthly basis. Payment will be done according to the achievement ratio of approved monthly activity plan. CARE will cover all official field visit/travel and other logistical cost as and when required. Consultant will be paid food, accommodation and other cost according to the CARE Bangladesh Perdium policy while Consultant is on any trip outside duty station.
