Responsibilities & Context:

Main responsibilities:

The HR Officer will work under the direct supervision of the TDH Teknaf HR Manager and provide comprehensive support to the HR team. Key responsibilities include assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes, managing employment contracts, supporting payroll administration, maintaining HR documentation, facilitating performance management activities, coordinating training initiatives, and performing other day-to-day HR functions as required.

The incumbent will also provide effective support to the HR Manager and Project Management Team in implementing TDH HR policies and procedures, thereby contributing to a positive, compliant, and productive work environment.

Specific responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interview coordination, and selection.

  • Facilitate onboarding and induction processes for new employees.

  • Ensure all recruitment documentation is complete and properly filed.

2. HR Administration & Documentation

  • Maintain and update employee records, both physical and digital, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Prepare and manage employment contracts, amendments, and other HR-related documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and local labor laws.

3. Payroll & Benefits Support

  • Assist in payroll preparation by collecting, verifying, and updating relevant staff data.

  • Support the administration of employee benefits and entitlements.

4. Performance Management

  • Support the implementation of the performance management system, including appraisal processes and documentation.

  • Follow up with staff and supervisors to ensure timely completion of evaluations.

5. Training & Development

  • Coordinate staff training sessions, workshops, and capacity-building initiatives.

  • Maintain training records and support learning and development activities.

6. HR Policy Implementation

  • Support the HR Manager and Project Management Team in implementing HR policies and procedures.

  • Ensure staff awareness and adherence to HR policies.

7. General HR Support

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to staff and respond to HR-related queries.

  • Assist in employee relations matters and contribute to maintaining a positive work environment.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
