Responsibilities & Context:

Ventura Leatherware Mfy. (BD) Ltd is looking for potential talents for the position of Assistant in General HR functions under Human Capital Management (HCM) Department. The position is aligned with a fixed role structure with responsibilities including recruitment support, employee records, onboarding, inventory management, and HR service support through documentation and administrative coordination. This position requires sincerity, discipline, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while ensuring smooth HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee personal files, HR databases, and personnel records.

  • Collect, verify, and organize joining documents of new employees.

  • Submit or collect official letters/documents from BEPZA, Post Office, and other external authorities.

  • Ensure proper filing, archiving, and confidentiality of HR documents.

  • Assist in CV collection, interview scheduling, and communication with candidates.

  • Prepare interview schedules, evaluation forms, and maintain candidate tracking.

  • Support onboarding formalities including preparation of joining kits, ID cards, and orientation arrangements.

  • Distribute HR circulars, memos, and internal notices.

  • Maintain and respond to basic employee queries related to uniform and inventory items, attendance, leave, and HR forms.

  • Support HR events, training arrangements, welfare activities, and official HR programs.

  • Provide clerical and administrative support within the HR department.

  • Assist in preparing HR reports, attendance updates, and other summaries as assigned.

  • Follow and ensure compliance with company HR policies and workplace rules.

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR tasks and responsibilities.
