As we grow, we need someone to build and run our HR function end-to-end.
We’re looking for an HR Executive to own recruitment and core HR operations for the group. When a department needs to hire, you’ll write the job description, get it in front of the right candidates, filter through applications, and manage the process through to an offer. Beyond hiring, you’ll run payroll, keep us compliant with Bangladesh labour law, and be the go-to person department heads work with on staffing and people matters. This isn’t a management role — it’s a hands-on executive position where you personally do the work of keeping HR running well.
Recruitment & Hiring
Write job descriptions in coordination with the relevant department head
Post and manage listings on job platforms (BDJobs and others)
Screen incoming CVs and shortlist candidates against role requirements
Reach out to shortlisted candidates, schedule interviews, and coordinate with department heads through the process
Follow up with candidates to keep them engaged and close offers once a decision is made
HR Operations & Payroll
Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave tracking
Draft offer letters, appointment letters, and employment contracts
Ensure HR practices comply with the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006 (leave entitlements, termination procedures, EPF/gratuity where applicable, etc.)
Department Coordination
Act as the day-to-day HR point of contact for department heads across the group’s entities
Support onboarding of new hires and offboarding when staff leave
Help resolve routine employee relations questions, escalating anything sensitive to leadership
