Responsibilities & Context:

Compass Education Group is looking for a Social Media Executive to lead content strategy and posting across our education pages — spanning our O/A-Level school, study abroad services, and test preparation programmes. You’ll decide what we should be saying, turn that into finished content, and keep every page posting consistently. You’ll also coordinate with our videographer and video editor so static and video content stay aligned.

Content Strategy

  • Decide what content each Compass page needs — ideas, angles, and messaging, not just execution of others’ briefs

  • Plan posting cadence and content mix per page based on what each audience responds to

  • Track basic engagement metrics and adjust direction accordingly

Content Creation & Design

  • Turn approved ideas into finished static content — posts, carousels, story graphics, ad creatives — using tools like Canva

  • Maintain visual templates and brand consistency across all pages

  • Own the day-to-day posting calendar and publish across all Compass Facebook/Instagram pages

Coordination

  • Work with the videographer and video editor to keep static and video content aligned in branding and timing

  • Turn around content quickly during peak periods (results seasons, admission cycles)

  • Support the marketing lead with creative concepts for paid campaigns;
