Responsibilities & Context:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA systems (QMS) and SOPs across cutting, sewing, and finishing to meet international quality standards.
2. Ensure all garments comply with buyer technical packs, measurement specifications, fit requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
3. Review, approve, and provide technical comments on pre-production (PP) samples, size sets, and sealed samples, particularly regarding fabric stretch, lace quality, and trim.
4. Oversee inline, end-line, and final audits (AQL) to ensure quality standards and reduce rework rates.
5. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to minimize rejections.
6. Verify the quality of raw materials, delicate fabrics, elastics, and trim before production to prevent, rather than fix, defects.
7. Lead, train, and mentor quality inspectors (QC) and supervisors on defect identification and measurement techniques.
8. Act as the focal point for buyer quality inspectors and manage Third-Party Inspections
Maintain quality reports (DHU, RFT, audit reports).
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports for management.
Ensure proper documentation for audits and buyer compliance.
Identify quality risks in production and take preventive actions.
13. Ensure timely shipment with required quality standards.
