• Preferably 3 years` experience as AGM or above.

• Track record of success and building high performance teams.

• Managing day to day regular compliance issues that arise from quality engagements and coordinate responses and tracking of regulatory issues.

• Significant experience in the apparel industry is crucial. Understanding the supply Chain, manufacturing processes andregulatory landscape specific to the apparel sector is essential to effective manage quality issues.

• In- depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the apparel industry is a must. This includes understanding labour laws, environmental regulations, import/export requirements, product safety standards.

• Strong leadership skill are necessary to manage a team of quality professionals and collaborate with other departments within the organization, Excellent communication skill are essential for interacting with stakeholders and buyers.

• Commitment, positive attitude and to collaborate with team.

• Must be able to take responsibility with honesty, sincerity and professionalism.

• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate effectively.

• Must be self-motivated and organized with a positive attitude.

• Must be fully familiar with e-mail, MS Word, MS Excel and power point.

• Strong written and verbal communications skill in English.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deciding on all product and technical specifications for the garment including the construction and operation sequence, and the machine, attachment and work methods, so as to meet the customer’s expectations by taking all practical considerations into account.
• Coordinating and communicating with the customer on product related issues pertaining to fit, construction, technical specifications and raw materials etc., and subsequently clarifying the requirements and recommending alternative value-added options to the customer to arrive at a mutually beneficial solution.
• Keeping abreast of the developments in the garment manufacturing arena and related technological areas; assessing feasibility for use at the factory and advising the management on these developments.
• Managing Product Development Center includes Garment Tech / Pattern Tech and Costing Front.
• Analyzing sketches and samples, understanding customer requirements and guiding the team to develop samples, accordingly, ensuring the viability of bulk production.
• Conceptualizing and creating marketable and production-viable product prototypes to expand the offered product portfolio.
• Oversee the day-to-day functions with QA, PD, Merchandising, Planning, and Design & Development department to ensure buyer compliance.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures in co-operation with the Factory in-charges.
• Follow up fabric inspection procedure according to buyer requirements and to take necessary action.
• To follow “Time and Action Plan” on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training and support to enhance their technical skills and overall effectiveness.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective quality assurance policies and procedures specifically tailored for garment production & Prepare and present quality metrics, reports, and analyses to senior management, highlighting key trends and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of quality inspections, tests, and audits for accountability and reference.
• Evaluate and monitor suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality standards and provide feedback to suppliers on any necessary improvements.
• Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring that all quality procedures and standards are thoroughly documented and in compliance.
• Analysis the KPI Related Data Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly & share with Top Management.
• Oversee adherence to environmental standards related to production and ensure sustainable practices are followed.
• Act as a primary point of escalation for critical quality issues, coordinating rapid responses to minimize impact on production and customer satisfaction.
