• Hands-on experience in underwear/lingerie production is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of specialized sewing machines and operations used in innerwear production.

• Excellent understanding of SMV, line balancing, efficiency improvement, and lean tools.

• Proven leadership and team management capability.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

We are seeking a highly experienced Manager – Sewing Production. The ideal candidate will lead sewing operations with a strong focus on productivity, quality, and efficiency while handling specialized innerwear production processes.

• Lead and manage end-to-end sewing production for underwear/innerwear products (briefs, boxers, bras, panties, etc.).

• Ensure daily production targets, line efficiency, and quality standards are achieved.

• Plan and control line setup, manpower allocation, and machine utilization for optimum productivity.

• Supervise special sewing operations such as elastic attachment, flatlock, overlock, binding, cup joining, and waistband attachment.

• Monitor line balancing, SMV, and bottleneck control to improve efficiency.

• Ensure quality compliance as per buyer standards and minimize DHU/rework.

• Coordinate closely with IE, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams for smooth workflow.

• Implement and monitor lean manufacturing tools, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure on-time production and shipment readiness as per plan.

• Train, guide, and develop line supervisors and operators for skill improvement.

• Prepare and submit production reports, efficiency analysis, and performance updates to management.

• Maintain discipline, compliance, and safety standards on the production floor.
