CONTEXT:
Leading Group of Companies involved in diversified business is looking for "Head of QA" for Composite Knit Garments Industry. The candidate must have minimum 10 years working experience in respective field in well reputed high compliance Industry dealing with top international brands like as M&S, C&A, H&M, American Eagle, Mango, Puma, GAP, Nike, Primark, LPP etc.
Strong communication skill and at least 5 years working experience as "Head of QA" or similar post in knit composite industry running over 100 lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Head of total Group Quality Assurance department on covering all quality system implementation, Planning and monitoring Administration of the whole quality department.
Caring out final inspection and coordinate with ultimate customers.
Processing and maintaining the factory as fully compliant with latest technologies.
Responsible for overall quality assurance/quality control for the Produced Garments.
Establishing quality monitoring systems & processes, liaison with Fabric. Cutting, sewing, finishing, and managing quality assurance resources deployed in a different section.
Ensure Quality Management System (QMS) tool is in place & working.
Develop and improve quality policy, procedure, system work instruction, forms and checklist, Internal Technical Audit
Ensure quality assurance systems are implemented, maintained and improved in order to assure the quality of products as per clients' standards and requirements and to meet KPIs set by the company.
Take appropriate action to ensure that required quality standards are maintained through the process to prevent the recurrence of similar issue.
Lead the QA team and develop the QA system according to the company's QA manual. Develop the GPQ, QS & NQC team and make the team more functional and competitive by following customers' instructions and also maintaining sharp tools policy and procedures.
Manage, guide & follow up with QA team members for quality inspection work, and communication with the customers and in-house production department.
Monitor to identify loopholes during dyeing, cutting, Printing, AOP, sewing, assembling, washing, finishing, and packing stage of garment in terms of quality measurement
Manage & maintain the quality standard and rules and regulations for achieving the required quality of the garments.
Bring sustainable efficiency improvements by identifying the bottlenecks and initiate necessary measure.
Make a bridge with production –quality for reducing gaps in understanding of both functions to co-ordinate with production and merchandising department.
Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attribute.
Update information on technical Operations and cost parameters at every stage of the quality process and conduct audits and monitor first article and first piece inspection and report.
Compile quality control reports, create statistical process control metrics, manage non-conformity material discrepancy reports and recommend continuous improvement activities.
Implement quality training programs for key quality & manufacturing personnel and also supply chain partners.
Monthly performance status report preparation and submission to the management.
Ensure on time shipment with right quality as per TNA.
Develop standard KPI on point to point basis for official staff & quality department.
Issue job specification letter to all Staff / Officer of QA department of garments, cutting, sewing, knitting, embroidery, dyeing, finishing etc.
Ensure zero quality defect in cutting, sewing, knitting, embroidery, dyeing, finishing department so that input & output remain same and avoid short shipment & effort for excess shipment.
Any other duties assigned by the Management.
