Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters preferably in Social Science/ Development Studies/ Business Administration or related discipline from any recognised educational institute.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic role:
∎ • Contribute in developing programme strategy to improve the design of existing programme and preparing new concept notes, proposals, budgets, planning for new new project.
∎ • Finalise programme's operational strategy and design effective implementation process to increase the programme efficiency.
∎ • Provide technical assistance (strategy development, training, proposal and documents review, tools development) to adapt the graduation model in different context and new target populations.
∎ Operational Management:
∎ • Oversee all aspects of implementation and management of the UPG Programme interventions, including special projects , through supervising and monitoring the field operation, developing detail implementation plan, different training and orientation material etc.
∎ • Develop feedback mechanism; ensure flow of authentic information to assist management in order to make effective decisions.
∎ • Regular analysis of budget, identify deviation and develop plan for adjustment in order to establish good efficient financial management.
∎ Responsible for managing overall field administration including disciplinary management, logistics, etc.
∎ • Develop coordination mechanism and ensure close work relationship between operation and other units (M&E, technical team, etc) to ensure proper services, optimum use of resources and to make appropriate strategic decisions and changes.
∎ People management:
∎ • Develop strategic and leadership skills of the team through field visit, hands on coaching, mentoring, effective meeting, proper orientation based on individual and overall need of the programme.
∎ • Develop staffing and capacity development plan through analyzing programme targets, need assessment, coordinate with relevant department and follow up proper execution of the plan.
∎ Ensure employee retention and succession plan at different level of staff and promoting gender diversity.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 years of working experience (at least 3 years in managerial position) in the development sector, preferably demonstrable experience of working with extreme poverty, livelihoods and disadvantaged groups in the Bangladesh and global context.
∎ Wide range of understanding on poverty dynamics of different context nationally and globally
∎ Strong understanding of gender and economic development issues and experience in integrating these into programme practice.
