Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA in Human Resource Management/MIS from a reputed public /private university.
∎ PGD in Personnel Management from BIM or from a reputed institution.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Administrative Management at University Level

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic and operational management of administration within the institution.
∎ Developing and delivering systems/ structures to enable effective day-to-day management, administration and technical support within the institution.
∎ Leadership and management of institution professional services staff (administrative, technical, support and other-related) ensuring that all are working collectively.
∎ Managing institution administrative processes for academic quality review.
∎ Leading and managing academic and administrative staff within the institution, taking responsibility for their development and training.
∎ Managing HR processes in the institution including recruitment, promotions, absence management, training and development, in collaboration with the institution Manager of HR.
∎ Managing performance and discipline of institution academic staff in collaboration with Head of Schools.
∎ Ensuring that the institution resource planning and financial management supports effective planning and decision making in the institution.
∎ Managing effectively the budgets and resources under their control and as delegated by the Head of the institution.
∎ Understanding and promoting the institution's Strategic Framework and policies.
∎ Contributing to the development of the institution Strategy, in particular in relation to administration, technical support and operations.
∎ Promoting and advancing collaborative working at strategic level with the partner universities,
∎ Developing action plans to address implementation/ performance gaps.
∎ Providing advice to ensure that structures and activities within the institution are effective and support institution's strategies.
∎ Contributing to the planning process, working in partnership with Admission, Finance & Accounts, HR, Marketing, IT and other administrative staffs.
∎ Supporting the effective design, running and implementation of reviews within the institution.
∎ Adopting a corporate and institutional approach to internal partnerships within the schools and administrative wings.
∎ Building and maintaining relationships with awarding bodies.
∎ Supporting and working collaboratively with student support department to maintain relations with institution's Alumni.
∎ Ensuring that the effective management of institution's infrastructure.
∎ Effective compliance with legislation, including Health and Safety, in conjunction with the institution HR and Administration Manager.
∎ Liaising with the institution IT lead and working with IT Services to ensure that the institution has appropriate IT facilities and support, in line with the institution's IT strategy.
∎ Understanding risks/ issues within the institution, developing and maintaining an effective system of risk management for the institution, including a risk register and actions to reduce and mitigate risk.
∎ Playing an active role in ensuring effective communications within the institution,
∎ Ensuring effective consultative mechanisms for both staff/students in the institution.
∎ Playing a significant role in action planning in the institution in response to the institution staff survey.
∎ Developing and managing effective arrangements for committees and governance within the institution.
∎ Contributing effectively to the Academic Administration Leadership Unit.
∎ Providing strategic and operational advice, support and guidance to the Head of the Institution Head on a wide range of issues.
∎ Other duties in the institution as determined from time-to-time by the Head of the institution.

∎ Age 40 to 45 years
∎ Defining and developing strategy and translating it into achievable and measurable operational outcomes.
∎ Leading and developing a large team and ensuring key targets are met within resource constraints.
∎ Managing multiple, complex projects.
∎ Initiating, implementing and managing change.
∎ Working with and influencing senior management.
∎ Financial planning, managing/controlling significant budgets and resources.
∎ Designing, developing and implementing complex proposals integrating strategic and financial issues.
∎ Developing and delivering solutions to complex problems.
∎ Operational planning, management and business process skills.
∎ Applying a significant amount of independent professional judgement.
∎ Excellent communication and inter-personal skills including:
∎ Ability to interact with all levels of staff.

∎ Able to analyse the internal/ external environment in order to develop appropriate solutions.
