Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters or equivalent degree in International Development or Business and Administration or Finance from any recognized University with CGPA 2.5 and above.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the Director of Grant Management, PRL in the creation of a global grant management SOP, representing Bangladesh views and perspective.
∎ Support the Director of Grant Management in the embedding of the Grant Management SOP within and across the Bangladesh Country Office. To be done through deliberate and planned support to Departments to establish and maintain an efficient and effective grants management process.
∎ Develop strong relationships across the Country Office; provide dotted line supervision and support to Department Grant Management Staff including:
∎ ? Support recruitment of Grant Management staff within Bangladesh Country Office
∎ ? Provide technical input into performance objectives
∎ ? Input into performance evaluations
∎ ? Provide regular, ongoing support to Grant Managers
∎ Build a high performing grant management team within the Bangladesh Country Office through regular and ongoing capacity building to Department Grant Management staff:
∎ ? On-the-job training support to select Grant Managers
∎ ? Workshops on select, strategic topics alone or in collaboration with other Departments
∎ ? Acting as a trouble-shooting resource for grant management queries and issues
∎ ? Facilitation of sharing grant management capacity across Departments and sites to promote opportunity and learning
∎ Convene all Bangladesh Grant Management staff regularly and govern the function for the Bangladesh Country Office.
∎ Ensure that key staff (including downstream partners) has a clear understanding of donor compliance requirements throughout the project management cycle. This includes ensuring a complete audit trail of the implementation and reporting for grants; serving as the donor compliance authority for the Bangladesh Country Office through:
∎ ? Review of donor solicitations and support PRL decision gates
∎ ? Review of high value proposals and budgets
∎ ? Review of donor contracts
∎ ? Serve as compliance helpdesk
∎ Support the building and adoption by the Bangladesh Country Office of a central grants management system (Orbit, Project Management System TBD); ensure that system is effectively maintained and up to date for all grants and sub-grants including authorization and document retention
∎ In collaboration with the Financial Specialist, provide Bangladesh-specific grant portfolio data for quarterly dashboards and other management reporting for senior management
∎ Work in collaboration with other Departments to ensure grant management inputs to key processes including, inter alia, master budget development, cost allocation, monitoring of grant budgets, phasing and forecasting, budget reviews.
∎ Ensure that grant management processes include consideration of key organizational priorities (Gender and Inclusion, Safeguarding).

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years' experience in development or related field
∎ Core experience in grants management
∎ Experience in change management using global standard grant management tools and procedures
∎ Donor compliance knowledge
∎ Dotted line management experience
