Job Summary:

Finishing IN charge for Undergarments is responsible for overseeing the final stages of the production process for undergarment products in a garment manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring that all undergarments meet the required quality standards, and are properly finished, packaged, and ready for shipment. Finishing IN charge will manage a team of operators, monitor the finishing process, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery of finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Finishing Process:

• Supervise and manage the finishing department for undergarment production, ensuring all products are completed according to quality standards.
• Ensure that all finishing operations (ironing, pressing, folding, packaging, labeling) are carried out efficiently and in compliance with customer specifications.

Quality Control:

• Monitor the quality of finished products, ensuring that they meet the required specifications and standards.
• Identify defects, errors, or inconsistencies during the finishing process and work with relevant teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and audits at various stages of the finishing process. Folding, packaging, labeling) are carried out efficiently and in compliance with customer specifications.

Team Management:

• Supervise a team of finishing operators, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and working efficiently.
• Provide daily guidance and instructions to the finishing team on tasks and responsibilities.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team.

Production Planning & Coordination:

• Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
• Coordinate with the cutting, stitching, and packing departments to ensure seamless production flow.
• Ensure that the production deadlines are met by managing work schedules and workflow within the finishing section.

Inventory and Materials Management:

• Monitor the usage of materials and consumables in the finishing process and manage inventory to avoid shortages.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of finished goods before they are dispatched. and workflow within the finishing section.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of production, defects, and quality checks.
• Report any issues or delays to senior management, suggesting corrective actions when necessary.
