Job Responsibilities:
∎ Direct and administer the Factory Managers for smooth execution of Knit apparel (Tops & bottoms) production in the factory as per the buyers' specifications and meet the shipment schedule.
∎ Maintain the quality of the garments and providing necessary guidelines to the factory managers to ensure quality. Constantly guiding the teams keeping in mind the target dates & also the challenges during the production at the same time ensuring high quality & high productivity.
∎ Supervise and manage the overall aspects of the Cutting, Sewing and Finishing department
∎ Take the ownership and supervise the Factory Managers to achieve the goal and accomplishing the production target in time.
∎ Supervise the production plans on regular basis and implement to ensure order delivery with timely execution till the final stage of shipment.
∎ Ensure that the production plans are properly executed and reach the target set by the company.
∎ Critical Balancing of lines as required by the styles and capable of utilizing operators to do multiple operations (processes) to complete the sewing.
∎ Coordinate with various departments to ensure that the cutting inputs, trims & accessories are arranged well in advance.
∎ Ensure the optimum productivity of factory managers in accordance with the IE requirements.
∎ Monitor and supervise the finishing processes and give necessary guidelines/ support to meet the shipment schedule and to check finishing-quality related issues.
∎ Responsible for general administration and co-ordination in recruitment of workers and management employees under him.
∎ Implementing LEAN concepts on the production & production related areas at all levels & across all departments internally & externally (including suppliers).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 55 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have at least 15+ years of experience in garments factories engaged in business(Knit Tops/Bottoms) with world-class customers/brands out of which 10 to 12 years as a Factory Manager, managing overall functions of 10 or more lines of (Knit Tops/Bottoms) garments factories for renowned branded buyers.
∎ Jacket Experience will be an added advantage
∎ Capable to handle the most critical styles with zero tolerance.
∎ A solid Knowledge of Internationally accepted Quality Standard.
∎ Should have clear idea about production planning, rejection control, maintaining of AQL and understanding of GSD and other IE things.
∎ A very good familiarity with the compliance requirements of world-famous customers and meeting their requirements.
∎ Should have thorough knowledge on production layout, process management and maintaining of production schedule to accomplish the job target and shipment schedule.
∎ Technically very strong in pre production, production, planning, quality, efficiency, etc.
∎ Ability to understand the importance of on-time delivery.
∎ Skill in manpower management, must possess huge experience and skills to deal with a huge number of workers
∎ Excellent communication skills. A fair command over English is essential and ability to mix up in a cosmopolitan environment is a must.
∎ Capability to work with Internet & E-mail.
