Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, and UPS systems.
∎ Diagnose and resolve hardware faults, peripheral connectivity issues, and performance problems.
∎ Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs on IT hardware.
∎ Replace or upgrade components such as RAM, hard drives, batteries, and peripherals.
∎ Maintain up-to-date inventory of IT hardware assets across the organization.
∎ Tag and document new assets and update records during moves, upgrades, or decommissioning.
∎ Coordinate with procurement and vendors for parts replacements or warranty services
∎ Maintain service logs and maintenance schedules for all IT hardware equipment.
∎ Create and update technical documentation including troubleshooting guides, SOPs, and checklists.
∎ Record incidents, resolutions, and preventive actions in the ITSM/ticketing system.
∎ Provide periodic reports on hardware health, usage, and service history.
