Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
∎ Post-Graduation from reputed university.
∎ Graduation in Textile or Apparel Merchandising will be preferred.
∎ Condition may be relaxed in case of experienced in Merchandising and have good track record.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and company's objectives.
∎ Communicate with buyer for new inquiry, development and order projection.
∎ Must be able to handle buyers independently and day-today merchandising operations.
∎ Keep costs and other overheads of the department within the budgeted limit
∎ Supervise and coordinate each and every aspect of the department.
∎ Review the development packages received from buyers and put the developments into work with product development team as well as vendors.
∎ Check all costing for price negotiation with buyer and then attend price & sample review meetings with buyer.
∎ Settle all claims with buyers & suppliers and check all the P/I's for bb L/C before proceeding with commercial dept.
∎ Updating the fabric & garment master spread sheet to all concerned dept.
∎ Comply with corporate objectives of merchandise planning, competitive assortment and brand mix, quality products and services that are catered to consumer's needs and lifestyle.
∎ Ensure sustainable measures by improving sales, market share, customer satisfaction, profitability and productivity.
∎ Must have able to sourcing new product development & negotiation with the buyers.
∎ Work with internal departments to ensure quality, production and timely delivery of goods.
∎ Ensure and maintain proper KPI target/Ratio and required MIS.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, disciplinary matters, training needs and their career development plans
∎ Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kind of wastage
∎ Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time
∎ Monitor and follow up floor QC team, sample QC team, Quality Inspectors, Measurement QC team, and GPQC team.
∎ Follow up with the subordinates and ensure proper control in on-going order
∎ Follow up with planning/production/commercial team & ensure shipment move on time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Working in Knit Composite Unit
∎ Strong negotiation, communication, leadership & analytical skills.
∎ Technical knowledge in production and quality system.
∎ Knowledge on ERP and relevant software.
