Responsibilities & Context:
· Developing and implementing HR & Compliance strategies in line with the Business Plan, Labor Law, Buyers' COC, and according to Industry standards.
· Preparing the factory to comply with the COCs of the different buyers with a view to facing different compliance audits, RSC, FWF, WARP, BSCI, SEDEX, environmental, technical, CTPAT, etc.
· Leading the compliance team on the CAPs of different audits and ensuring smooth rectification.
· Administering different compliance training programs for workers in the factory.
· Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
· Managing the issues about Industrial Relations (IR) according to the laws in force, along with formulating motivational factors and conflict management.
· Maintaining liaison with agencies/organizations (Govt./Private) like BGMEA, BKMEA, compliance auditors, BERC, Fire Service & Civil Defense, Labor Office, Environment office, Local influences, etc.
· Developing initiatives to nurture a positive working environment, reduce absenteeism & turnover through close monitoring, counseling, and bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and discipline & performance issues.
· Any other assignment as assigned by the top management.
· Maintain healthy counselling and training.
