Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic professional for the position of General Manager (GM), Compliance. The candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing all compliance-related functions to ensure adherence to local laws, buyer requirements, and international standards.

Job Location:

  • Factory (Zirani)

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead overall compliance operations of the factory/organization.

  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law and international labor standards.

  • Handle buyer / certification compliance audits (e.g., RSC, C-TPAT, SEDEX, BSCI, OEKO TEX, etc.).

  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.

  • Maintain updated documentation and compliance records.

  • Coordinate with HR, Admin, Production, and Management for corrective action plans (CAP).

  • Monitor health & safety, fire safety, environmental, and social compliance issues.

  • Liaise with external auditors, buyers, and regulatory authorities.

  • Conduct internal audits and training sessions for staff and workers.

  • Prepare audit reports and present findings to top management.
