Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 05-07 years of experience in Bond operations within the RMG sector.

  • Strong hands-on experience dealing with Customs Bond Commissionerate and BGMEA.

  • Minimum 2/3 years’ experience as an Asst. Manager in relevant field.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Customs Bond Rules & NBR regulations

  • Good command over documentation, reporting, and compliance procedures

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle audits confidently

  • Strong coordination and communication skills

  • Computer proficiency (MS Excel, ERP/Bond software)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Zero or minimal bond compliance observations

  • Timely submission of bond returns and reports

  • Accurate stock and consumption reconciliation

  • Successful handling of customs/bond audits

  • Effective coordination with internal departments



Responsibilities & Context:

Working condition: corporate based

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Bonded Warehouse Management

  • Manage and monitor Bond License operations as per Customs Bond Rules, 2008 (and latest amendments).

  • Maintain accurate records of import, issue, consumption, stock, wastage, and export of bonded items.

Import & Export Compliance

  • Supervise UD, UP, Bill of Entry, Bill of Export, Mushak, and related bond documents.

  • Coordinate with Commercial, Store, Production, and Merchandising teams to ensure proper bond utilization.

  • Ensure imported raw materials are used only for export-oriented production.

Customs & Regulatory Liaison

  • Communicate and coordinate with Customs Bond Commissionerate, NBR, BGMEA, and Customs Officials.

  • Support customs audit, bond audit, and compliance inspections.

  • Handle customs queries, discrepancies, and compliance observations effectively.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly bond returns (e.g., Mushak-9.1/9.2, stock statements, reconciliation reports).

  • Ensure proper filing, preservation, and traceability of all bond-related documents.

  • Conduct regular stock reconciliation between physical stock and bond records.

Risk Management & Compliance Control

  • Identify risks related to bond misuse, excess wastage, over-consumption, or shortages.

  • Ensure compliance with wastage declaration and approval limits.

  • Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions.

Team Coordination & Supervision

  • Guide and supervise Bond Executives / Officers.

  • Train team members on updated bond rules and compliance procedures.

  • Coordinate with Admin & HR for audit-related manpower support if required.
