Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
  • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

  • IEB (Institution of Engineers Bangladesh) membership is often required

  • Typically, 5–8+ years of relevant experience, preferably including work in RMG or industrial construction projects.

  • Experience with building construction, civil operations, and safety compliance of RSC (RMG Sustainability Council & Nirapon) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:

Civil & Structural Project Support

  • Assist in planning, coordination, and supervision of civil construction works (factory buildings, drains, roads, sheds).

  • Support review of architectural/structural drawings, BOQ, and cost estimations.

  • Ensure construction activities align with approved designs and standards.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, safety practices, and progress.

  • Ensure compliance with RSC (RMG Sustainability Council)/Nirapon safety standards, buyer compliance, local codes (BNBC) and audit requirements.

  • Prepare and submit relevant reports (audit, RSC remediation action plans, progress).

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, BOQs, estimates, and other documentation for management and audit purposes.

  • Maintain accurate records for compliance, inspection results, and project updates.

Contractor Coordination

  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, internal teams, and stakeholders to resolve technical or on-site issues.

  • Monitor contractor performance and material quality.

Technical Work

  • Use software tools like AutoCAD (2D/3D) for drawing verification and modifications.

  • Participate in design review, structural drawing checks, and construction planning.

Other

  • Provide support for project planning, procurement coordination, cost control, and problem-solving.

  • Perform any tasks assigned by senior management related to civil engineering functions.

Work Environment:

  • On-site and office duties.

  • Frequent site visits across factory facilities.

  • Collaboration with multiple departments (Engineering, Compliance, Admin).
