Potential candidates should ensure company operations adhere to local labor laws, international standards, and buyer-specific requirements. This role leads to audits (Compliance & Environment and Technical) and manages documentation for safety and environmental compliance. He/ she also coordinates government bodies, oversees safety training, updates policies, and drives sustainability efforts. Additionally, the role ensures timely legal permit renewals and manages chemical safety procedures. By supporting senior management, the candidate must ensure efficient compliance operations.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure adherence to local labor laws, international standards, and buyer-specific requirements to maintain operational integrity within the company
Lead and support audits including SEDEX (4 Pillar), NIRAPON, HIGG FEM & FSLM, ISO 14001, GRS, GOTS, and Buyer CoC, working collaboratively with brands and third-party auditors
Maintain up-to-date documentation and compliance with Nirapon standards, particularly for structural and fire safety protocols
Design and implement internal audits to ensure readiness for external audits across labor, safety, environmental, and ethical standards
Manage and oversee the efficient use of customer and government web portals for streamlined reporting and compliance processes
Serve as the key liaison with government bodies, including Fire & Civil Defense, Labor Office, Factory Inspectorate, and Environmental Inspectorate, ensuring strong regulatory compliance
Manage compliance-related purchases by coordinating with the supply chain and suppliers
Conduct job safety analyses, risk assessments, and implement specialized training programs to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Prepare the monthly compliance report and presentation, and submit them to management for review
Regularly review and update workplace policies relating to labor standards, occupational safety, and environmental sustainability
Oversee the timely renewal and maintenance of legal permits (e.g., Trade, Fire, Factory, Environmental, Generator, Explosive licenses) and ensure accurate documentation
Lead sustainability initiatives by managing energy, water, and waste to help achieve the company's environmental goals
Supervise and validate testing for compliance with ZDHC and other standards concerning water quality, wastewater discharge, air emissions, noise levels, and lighting conditions
Monitor and manage chemical inventories, update bilingual MSDS, and enforce robust on-site chemical safety measures
Deliver comprehensive training sessions related to compliance, occupational safety, and environmental management across the company
Provide support to senior management through the timely execution of tasks and special projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and priorities
