Job Responsibilities:
∎ A large industrial conglomerate with local and international exposure is looking for a GM for garments (RMG) business to work closely with the founder/owner to help the organization achieve strategic edge in the industry and expand the business and profitability.
∎ Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
∎ Manage existing executive team and build up an operations team
∎ Work closely with the Founder/Board and other key members of senior management to develop and deliver strategic plans and goals, and identify risks, mitigating factors and potential opportunities for the future
∎ Work with Management Team to execute the company's business plan, overall strategy and vision of the group
∎ Build a strong culture of accountability and teamwork among employees
∎ Create synergistic growth strategies across the group
∎ Ensure operational excellence by spearheading the development, communication and implementation of best in class strategies and processes in the areas of forecasting and planning, production, sourcing and logistics
∎ Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and resources designed to accommodate rapid profitable growth and create maximum long-term enterprise value
∎ Establish and measure key operational performance indicators for the organization and adjust operational tactics to achieve agreed upon performance goals
∎ Define monthly reporting requirements for all Operations functions and provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company
∎ Develop quality control systems and processes to deliver optimal performance in all operational areas including production, sourcing and logistics
∎ Receive the weekly/ monthly production plan from the planning team to be implemented on the Operations floor and to be ensure in time RMG shipment.
∎ Attend the pre-production meetings & provide relevant inputs for the production plan.
∎ Plan and organize machine allocation and raw materials basis the production schedules.
∎ Responsible for receiving production plan with shipment plan from Planning Manager.
∎ To make the proper manpower planning against future styles.
∎ Responsible for collecting daily efficiency target from IE department.
∎ To make the line wise sewing plan daily.
∎ Responsible for execution, monitoring & evaluation of Sewing plan.
∎ Responsible for achieving hourly production target, maintain reporting & applying new tools for enhancing production.
∎ To monitor the proper Input & Output recording of sewing.
∎ To keep consistency between sewing output & finishing output.
∎ Review all production data to give relevant information to other teams.
∎ Review reports to analyze discrepancies and gaps and take action to rectify as necessary.
∎ Control wastage of resources, machines, raw materials, and other accessories.
∎ Prepare finishing plan as per shipment schedule.
∎ Provide technical assistance for continuous monitoring and confirming finishing process.
∎ Optimize manpower utilization, Maintain efficiency level.
∎ To make sure daily target & achieve as per buyer schedule (Like Cutting, Sewing & Finishing).
∎ To take the responsibility during audit by buyer regarding compliance issues.
∎ To take necessary measures in order to uphold human rights and development of human resources.
∎ Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in work place to ensure zero Non Compliance.
∎ Work for Zero defect and Zero short shipment.
∎ To take the challenge for cost effective management.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management from time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Candidate have ERP software knowledge will get preference.
∎ The Candidate should have at least 12 - 15 years’ experience in RMG sector and must have worked in similar position for 3/5 years.
∎ Demonstrating discretion, confidentiality, diplomacy, integrity, honesty and openness
∎ Able to demonstrate excellent team spirit and team building skills
∎ Able to demonstrate a systematic and common-sense approach in order to effectively play the designated role.
∎ Advanced knowledge of IT i.e. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and Internet is a must.
∎ Demonstrating the desire for long term commitment to the job and enterprise.
∎ Experience running an organization with a profit motive
∎ Experience leading or managing a direct sales organization.
∎ Excellent communication & presentation skills
∎ International experience a plus
∎ People management skills a must
∎ Dynamic and proactive leader
