• Executive: 1–3 years of experience in IE (woven factory preferred) and Sr. Executive: 3–5+ years of relevant experience.

• Strong knowledge of SMV calculation and work study techniques.

• Expertise in line balancing and capacity planning.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and IE software/tools.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, etc.).

Job Summary

The Executive / Sr. Executive – IE is responsible for improving production efficiency, optimizing processes, reducing waste, and ensuring accurate work measurement within the woven garments production line. The role focuses on capacity planning, line balancing, SMV calculation, and continuous improvement to achieve productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct time and motion studies and calculate SMV (Standard Minute Value) for all styles.

• Analyze and improve production methods to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

• Prepare operation breakdown, operation bulletin, and method layouts.

• Perform line balancing and develop efficient line layouts to minimize bottlenecks.

• Calculate manpower requirements based on SMV and production targets.

• Monitor hourly and daily production performance and track line efficiency.

• Identify productivity gaps and implement corrective actions in coordination with production team.

• Apply lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, continuous improvement initiatives).

• Conduct style analysis and feasibility study before bulk production.

• Participate in pre-production (PP) meetings and provide IE inputs.

• Prepare capacity planning and production targets for different styles.

• Maintain and update IE database including SMV, efficiency, and capacity data.

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly IE reports.

• Support merchandising team with accurate SMV for costing purposes.

• Ensure implementation of SOPs and maintain documentation for audits and compliance.
