Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning for the coming order by managing capacity.
∎ Forecasting the upcoming work load and take action accordingly.
∎ Execute sample production meeting all the parameters as per Buyer's requirement.
∎ Schedule delivers based on production forecast, materials substitutions, storage and handling facilities and maintenance requirements.
∎ Estimate machine requirements, working hour, target unit and manpower.
∎ Calculate and finalize product SMV, CM calculation and finalize the product closing & Cut to ship ratio.
∎ Daily manpower balancing, target setting & achievement monitoring.
∎ Cost estimation of garments.
∎ Calculation threads consumption.
∎ Motion analysis of the operations.
∎ Non- Productive time calculation.
∎ Design factory layout.
∎ Ensuring line balancing as per layout.
∎ Ensuring time and motion study for all styles.
∎ Improve capacity or the factory to meet the plan targets.
∎ Ensuring optimum utilization of man and machine and follow-up operator's efficiency and productivity improvement.
∎ Prepare production plan for ensuring right time shipment.
∎ Operator's skill test & skill matrix preparation.
∎ Reviewing operators' skill level (monthly) and ensuring corrective action along with the proposal of training for potential workers.
∎ Review reconciliation report for each of the orders.
∎ Time Study for sewing line activities and setting Standard Time (SMV) for each & every process.
∎ Preparing Operation Breakdown/Layout & calculate Manpower & Machinery.
∎ Production Break Down, SMV calculation.
∎ Calculate non-productive time.
∎ Maintain style feeding time & learning curve.
∎ Garments style analysis / risk Management
∎ Studying and analyzing manpower requirement in sewing line.
∎ Daily Problem analysis and solve.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 15 years' experience in garments/apparel industry where at least 5 years in the senior management position.
∎ Require Woven (Men's Tops & Ladies Tops) related experience.
∎ Experience on Floor Line Management, Labor Counseling, Merchandising, Planning and Production.
∎ Knowledge on IE tools and Statistics, Auto CAD.
∎ Strong analytical, thinking and planning skills.
∎ Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to resolve issues between teams of professionals and technical managers are also essential for this position.
