Responsibilities & Context:
We are a 100% export-oriented, reputed denim top & bottom manufacturer, seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, and result-driven professional for the position of Senior Manager / AGM – Quality.
The incumbent will lead the entire quality function, ensure compliance standards, and drive continuous improvement across all stages of denim manufacturing from raw material to final shipment.
Lead and manage the overall quality assurance & quality control operations for denim products (tops & bottoms).
Develop, implement, and monitor end-to-end quality systems across cutting, sewing, washing, finishing, and packing.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, AQL standards, and compliance frameworks.
Oversee in-line, pre-final, and final inspections to ensure product quality and consistency.
Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality benchmarks.
Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate closely with production, merchandising, washing, and technical teams to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
Monitor fabric, trims, and accessories quality and coordinate with suppliers for issue resolution.
Lead and develop the quality team, including training, performance evaluation, and skill enhancement.
Ensure compliance with ISO, OEKO-TEX, RSL, and other buyer-specific standards.
Analyze quality data, identify trends, and provide strategic reports to top management.
Manage customer audits, third-party inspections, and ensure successful outcomes.
Focus on waste reduction, cost control, and process optimization.
Stay updated with latest denim trends, washing techniques, and quality innovations.
