Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Training in Garments Finishing, Quality Control, or Lean Manufacturing preferred.

Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Certification in Apparel Production, Garment Finishing, or Industrial Engineering (preferred).

  • Proven leadership experience managing large finishing teams.

  • Strong technical knowledge of finishing, packing, ironing, and final inspection processes.

  • Good understanding of production planning and shipment coordination.

  • Knowledge of C-TPAT standards and cargo/packing security protocols.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage high-pressure operational environments.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Oversee all finishing operations including trimming, ironing, inspection, folding, and packing.

  • Ensure product quality meets buyer specifications and standards.

  • Manage finishing capacity planning and daily production targets.

  • Monitor finishing KPIs such as DHU, RFT, and shipment readiness.

  • Ensure proper line balancing and workforce utilization in finishing section.

  • Coordinate with Quality, IE, and Production teams for smooth workflow.

  • Ensure timely completion of finishing processes to meet shipment deadlines.

  • Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.

  • Monitor and control rework, defects, and rejection rates.

  • Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and audit standards.

  • Maintain proper documentation, reports, and finishing MIS.

  • Supervise and develop finishing team through training and guidance.

  • Ensure workplace discipline, safety, and housekeeping (5S).

  • Coordinate with Planning and Commercial teams for shipment alignment.

  • Support cost control and optimize resource utilization in finishing.
