Responsibilities & Context: To maintain organizational discipline, efficiency and productive work environment through effective human resource management and administrative operations in Bengali Daily Newspaper.
1. Recruitment and Workforce Management:
- Oversee manpower planning, position creation and approval processes.
- Manage job postings, candidate screening, interviews and recruitment process.
2. Employee Environment and Performance Management:
- Conduct annual performance appraisals.
- Implement systems for employee rewards, promotions and disciplinary actions.
3. Training & Skill Development:
- Arrange necessary training for new and existing employees.
- Organize leadership and managerial development programs.
4. Compliance with HR Policies & Regulations:
- Ensure implementation of employment terms, code of conduct and HR policies.
- Maintain alignment with labour laws and internal organizational policies.
5. Office Management & Security:
- Supervise office operations, security, cleanliness and maintenance of office equipment.
- Coordinate support services including transportation, cafeteria and events.
6. Contract and Administrative Documents Management:
- Maintain contracts, indemnity bonds, official correspondence and administrative files.
- Ensure effective communication with government and non-government agencies.
7. Budgeting & Expense Monitoring of Admin Dept.:
- Plan and prepare budgets for administrative expenses.
- Implement cost effective measures and maintain financial transparency.
8. Attendance & Work Hour Supervision:
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, OT, discipline.
- Ensure accurate records of salary, increment & leave.
