Experience:
BBA/MBA/Master’s in any discipline.
Professional certification such as CIPS/CSCP will be an advantage.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience for Assistant Manager.
Minimum 5–8 years for Deputy Manager, preferably in a Group of Companies, manufacturing, construction or real estate sector.
Sound knowledge of procurement, inventory, logistics, and supply chain best practices.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skillsAnalytical and planning ability.
Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Willingness to travel to factories, projects, and supplier locations as required.

1. Procurement & Vendor Management
Plan and execute procurement of raw materials, consumables, capital items, and services for different concerns of the Group.
Prepare and review purchase requisitions (PR), requests for quotation (RFQ), comparative statements (CS), and purchase orders (PO).
Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
Maintain an approved vendor database and conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, delegated authority, and applicable laws.
2. Inventory & Warehouse Management
Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimum stock, minimizing shortages and excess inventory.
Coordinate with warehouses and stores for proper receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of materials.
Implement inventory control systems, including FIFO/FEFO and periodic physical stock verification.
Analyze inventory turnover, aging, and variance reports and recommend corrective actions.
3. Logistics & Distribution
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, and delivery schedules.
Liaise with transporters, clearing & forwarding (C&F) agents, and service providers.
Ensure timely movement of goods to factories, projects, and sales locations.
Monitor logistics costs and optimize routes and delivery methods.
4. Planning & Coordination
Work closely with production, projects, sales, finance, and administration departments to forecast demand and plan supply.
Support annual procurement planning and budget preparation.
Ensure uninterrupted supply to support operational and project requirements.
5. Documentation & Compliance
Ensure proper documentation of all supply chain activities, including contracts, invoices, delivery notes, and stock records.
Maintain accurate MIS, reports, and dashboards related to procurement, inventory, and logistics.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
6. Team & Process Improvement
Supervise and guide junior officers and store/logistics staff, if assigned.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
Support implementation of ERP or supply chain management systems.
