Experience:
Minimum Honours/ BBA and Masters/MBA in Accounting or equivalent.
CA (CC)/ICMA Part-qualified will be an added advantage.
1-3 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
Printing, Press and Publication sector will be preferred.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Familiarity with VAT, tax, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS office and accounting software (i.e. Tally, ERP).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Check and verify all kinds of bill, vouchers and other expense-related documents.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records and maintain accurate books of accounts.
Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system (voucher preparation, journal entries etc.) and Operate ERP/Accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP, MS Excel).
Maintain ledgers, invoices and payment records for suppliers, customers and recorded sales entries accurately in Tally ERP software.
Handled cash collection from customers (cash sales) and ensured timely and accurate posting in the accounting software.
Maintained petty cash, ensured proper authorization of expenses, and performed regular petty cash reconciliation.
Maintain bank reconciliation, cash flow monitoring, and fund management.
Prepare customer ageing reports and Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable statements for management review.
Maintain accurate records of raw and other materials purchases.
Coordinate with store and production department for stock/inventory system records and physical stock verification.
Support stock calculation, costing, and inventory valuation.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
Assist in job wise product costing for printing, press and publication work.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Assist in VAT, Tax, and regulatory compliance-related work.
Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.
