SH Accounting & Bookkeeping Ltd is a UK-based accounting and advisory firm providing bookkeeping, financial reporting, and business advisory services to companies across the UK and Europe.

We are expanding our support team in Bangladesh and are looking for an experienced and qualified Bookkeeper to join our growing team.

This role offers the opportunity to work with international clients and UK accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for UK clients

• Record and review sales invoices and purchase invoices

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

• Maintain general ledger and trial balance

• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts

• Process expenses and supplier payments where required

• Work with cloud accounting software and digital document systems

• Ensure financial data is accurate, organised and up to date

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

• Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience

• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles

• Good understanding of UK accounting and Tax rules

• Good Excel and computer skills

• Good written and spoken English

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Mandatory Requirements

• Reliable high-speed internet connection (strong bandwidth required)

• Ability to work fully remotely from home

• Quiet and professional working environment

• Access to a computer or laptop suitable for professional work

Preferred (but not essential)

• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage

• Experience working with UK clients or UK accounting systems

• ACCA / CA / CMA qualification or student
