Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Individual counselling sessions with beneficiaries where required to discuss complex cases.
∎ Provide Gender based violence case management service to the beneficiaries.
∎ Participate in supervisions and trainings that serve as ongoing technical and processual directions for their cases.
∎ Presence and participation in capacity building is mandatory for all case workers. They are expected to apply learning and reflection in their work.
∎ Maintaining detailed and confidential case files in line with recognized standard methodologies.
∎ Development of peer/reflective practices with teams.
∎ Oversee activities to reinforce referrals for survivors of GBV.
∎ Expected to provide ongoing capacity building to volunteers; and to Assistants based on Coordinators or GBV Manager requests. All members of the GBV team are expected to model following the Code of Conduct, demonstrate clear and respectful understanding of team and organizational hierarchy and respect, support and extend capacity building support to subordinates, volunteers and/or other team members with a different skill set from them.
∎ Support current MHPSS practices, reflecting on a cross-sectoral approach. Identify MHPSS service providers and agree referral pathways·
∎ Structured Case Worker activities for adolescents, organized in age and sex appropriate groups with a clear methodology or curriculum to promote mental well-being. Such activities must align with donor commitments in already-funded projects.
∎ Self-accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently

∎ Experience in Psychological First Aid, and other psychosocial supportive activities.
