- Experience in the production of sauces, pickles, or dried fruit is preferred.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Carry out routine microbiological, chemical, and physical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Conduct pesticide residue, moisture content, acidity, salt, and pH analysis where applicable.
- Verify packaging quality (sealing, labeling, glass/jar inspection).
- Assist in shelf-life and stability testing of products (pickles, sauces, dried fruits).
- Record all test results accurately in QC logs and databases.
- Prepare daily/weekly test reports and submit to the QC Manager.
- Maintain Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for batches released.
- Document and escalate any deviations or non-conformities immediately.
- Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices in the production area.
- Check raw material deliveries for compliance with specifications.
- Participate in mock recalls and traceability exercises.
- Support production teams by providing feedback on quality issues in real time.
- Report directly to the QC Manager and follow testing schedules.
- Cooperate with Production, Warehouse, and Procurement teams to solve quality-related issues.
- Provide training to workers on basic hygiene and food safety practices when required.
