Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure all the aspects of opening the learning centres and their readiness for learners
∎ Distribute teaching-learning materials efficiently, maintaining updated stock position records and supervising their proper use in the classroom
∎ Conduct daily supervisory visits to learning facilities (LCs) evaluate adherence to minimum standards for quality learning and address any gaps identified .Conduct basic needs assessments for the BRAC Education Sector in Cox’s Bazar, including households surveyand site assessments for learning facilities
∎ Conduct teaching volunteers' orientation and monthly refresher training as subject master trainers to improve their capacity
∎ Provide support to mentor teaching volunteers to enhance their effectiveness in teaching volunteers’ capacity development
∎ Organise and facilitate TLC (teaching learning circle), parent meetings, and Community Education Stakeholder Group (CESG) and other stakeholders meetings
∎ Prepare field visit checklists and reports and share actionable insights with supervisors and relevant teams as per the action plan
∎ Ensure data collected from the field is accurate, organized, and submitted in a timely manner for analysis
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ This position will responsible to ensure the Host and Rohingya teaching volunteers, quality service management and the learning centre operations. This position will also conduct daily supervisory visits of learning facilities to evaluate adherence standards of r quality learning.
