∎ Knowledge:
∎ • Knowledge on fabrics measurement, cutting, sewing, printing, products finishing etc.
∎ • Knowledge about different types of fabrics construction & quality assurance mechanism
∎ • Knowledge about fabrics lay, fabrics ratio, size ratio, marker ratio, fabrics alter/rejection, pattern adjust, pattern cutting and etc.
∎ • Knowledge on safeguarding.
∎ • Knowledge about production management & planning.
∎ Skills:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Understand the order sheet and PTP (Product Tech Pack) clearly.
∎ Taking preparation of cutting for PP approval & handover to concern section within seven working days after receiving each order from HO.
∎ Prepare sample as per design of Aarong and cutting plan as per approved sample & instructions.
∎ Discuss the weekly loading plan of the cutting, tailoring & hand embroidery with Supervisor.
∎ Look after the artisan’s attendance & absenteeism reduction of the sections.
∎ Ensure necessary supply of materials to artisans of different sections for better & timely production.
∎ Receiving standard quality raw materials and ensuring quality cutting production according to shade with size, ratio & color fabrics considering purpose & delivery date after receiving PP approval from the concern authority.
∎ Ensure shrinkage report & ratio before starting bulk production.
∎ Submit daily cutting measurement report to the supervisor.
∎ Clear and understand the measurement chart to the tailoring artisans.
∎ Assist to ensure effective planning and monitoring for timely production delivery
∎ Check and assure the products quality during cutting, tailoring & hand embroidery production process.
∎ Communicating with Field Facilitator, Tailoring & Field Facilitator, Sub Center to prepare wages muster roll, register book & entry the pass book of the artisans.
∎ Oversee the tailoring and measurement during cutting and take initiatives to rectify alter properly.
∎ Send tailoring completing products to next sections through proper quality checking.
∎ Collect artisans from community as per target by moving door to door.
∎ Return the excess fabrics to store by counting after completing cutting production according to each order.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ Ensuring sample development, cutting of the fabrics & standard quality production of sewing section and delivery goods to Aarong C/S timely.
