Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline from any recognised university/ institutions with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee implementation of Urban Development Programme (UDP) interventions at the district/ city level keeping alignment with the UDP objectives
∎ Network and liaison with Mayor, councilor's, city/ municipality authority for ensuring coordinated service delivery
∎ Maintain strong communication and networking with municipality and city corporations, and elected local representatives to ensure their engagement in social accountability initiatives
∎ Follow up field level implementation in each city and town under UDP coverage
∎ Monitor progress of the project and ensure smooth field delivery of the activities
∎ Organise training, workshops and different events at the field level according to annual targets.
∎ Provide support to the technical department of UDP for effective urban interventions
∎ Organise and manage regular team meetings with field staffs, informal catch-up meetings and external meetings as necessary and to ensure meeting notes and action points are distributed to the deadline
∎ Identify, plan and organise capacity development training/ workshops of the programme organisers
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 4 years' experience with NGOs or international development organisation, including 1 years' experience in the urban poverty reduction/ livelihoods/ planning and governance project or programme
∎ Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large scale and complex projects
∎ Have knowledge of current national and global development trends related to urban poverty and urban development
∎ Have skills on community organising and social mobilisation
∎ Excellent communication, presentation, organisation and negotiation skills
∎ Skills in documentation, facilitation & reporting
∎ Strong analytical skills and possess a proven track record of working successfully in a variety of cultural contexts
∎ Awareness of political processes and protocols
