∎ Honors/Master in Fisheries/Marine Science/Food Science/Zoology from any reputed University.
∎ Having additional degrees in Food Processing will be an added advantage.
∎ Certification on Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 are highly preferred.

∎ Preferred experience in the following business area(s): Frozen fish processing industries, frozen foods manufacturing companies.
∎ Minimum 05 years’ experience with 02 years as Factory Manager in related fields.
∎ The ideal candidate should have commendable track record & experience in Frozen Food industry.
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal skill and teamwork.
∎ Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities.
∎ Skills & Expertise: Frozen Fish, Frozen Foods.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To oversee the overall activities of the manufacturing facilities of the plant.
∎ Ensure customer orders are received, produced and shipped.
∎ Planning and functioning of the organization.
∎ Schedule production as needed, ensure that the production is cost effective, oversee process line, supervising material resources to meet the production target.
∎ To Ensure production targets are met within set deadlines.
∎ Optimize production efficiency and reduce wastes.
∎ Decision making on day to day operations.
∎ Closely liaison with the section heads to ensure smooth functioning of the different disciplines and to run the production properly in accordance with the set standards parameters of production.
∎ Maintaining frozen store/general store in such a way that the earlier production must be shift earlier during export (FIFO) and all time communicate with senior management regarding export schedule.
∎ Checking day to day finished products stock, balance sheet of stocks before and after shipment and consignment preparation as per shipment schedule.
∎ Formulate quality policy and its objectives. Implementing quality assurance system which the management underlines as primary commitment. Supervise quality checks at each stage of processing, address and resolve quality issues promptly.
∎ Implementing the policy decision taken by the management in various aspects of production, quality control and technology up gradation.
∎ Look after purchase of stationeries, dry packing materials and other indirect materials. Plan for authorities’ approval, ensuring supply of materials and ready stock for maintenance.
∎ Convey meeting for corrective actions/preventive measures and non-conformance review.
∎ Ensure adherence to government regulations on fish processing, labor laws, and environmental standards, safe working environment and team collaboration.
∎ Arranging audit with external agencies. Ensure compliance with local (FIQC) and international food safety standards, such as GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000.
∎ Getting feedback from market and pass them to the concerned personnel.
∎ To monitor daily raw materials, receive statement, employees’ overtime hours, party bills, utility bills etc.
