Additional Requirements:

• Age 28 to 40 years

• Proven track record managing preventive maintenance programmes in a production environment.

• Experience in pet food or food-grade manufacturing is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities & Context:

• Operate and monitor all production machinery — extruder, pre-conditioner, hammer mill, gas boiler, and gas dryer — to achieve quality and output targets.

• Set and verify process parameters (temperature, pressure, moisture) at each stage in line with approved batch formulations.

• Develop and execute a Preventive Maintenance Plan (PMP) covering all critical equipment.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults promptly to minimise production downtime.

• Operate and maintain the standby generator; inspect and service electric motors, drives, and control panels.

• Conduct gas safety checks on pipelines, valves, regulators, and burners; report and resolve anomalies immediately.

• Support the QC team by providing accurate machinery data for batch release decisions.

• Maintain machinery logs, manage spare parts inventory, and raise purchase requisitions for critical items.

• Enforce safety (including LOTO procedures), GMP, and housekeeping standards on the factory floor.

• Prepare daily machinery status reports and weekly maintenance reports for the Factory Manager.
