Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Technology
∎ Skills Required: Fabric dyeing, Fabric Knitting, Fabric printing, Fabric testing, Good communication skills, Innovation, strategic thinking and planning skills
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analysis the in-development/prognosis/confirmed order’s garment and highlight the potential risk involved in fabric.
∎ Work with vendor or fabric mill along with fabric scouring team/merchandiser directly to mitigate the risk.
∎ Work with vendor or fabric mill directly to maintain consistent fabric quality in term of aesthetic/specs across all department. Closely work with buyers for approval and resolution (if required).
∎ Provide technical solutions to fabric mills if any discrepancy happens.
∎ Reviewing and analyzing Supplier/fabric mills quality performance and working for improvement.
∎ Support on any fabric issue, starting from sourcing, development, sampling, base test, lab-dip/strike-off/handloom, bulk testing, appearance, handle and color approval, garment washing, garment dyeing, etc.
∎ Analysis test reports from Fabric Mill, 3rdParty lab, and Centro in-house lab to follow up with supplier for performance and take appropriate action for the low performer.
∎ Conducting technical training and presentation for suppliers and internal colleagues on quality and process.
∎ Giving technical support to the fabric scouring team and merchandiser and helping them to develop fabric suppliers.
∎ Responsible for proper documentation and reporting of fabric inspection, shrinkage, shade, and washing appearances.
∎ Ensure due-diligence test across the departments for all core lines. Co-ordinate with third party Laboratories.
