∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Preference will be given to candidates with experience in knit composite garments in the online quality assurance department.
∎ Experience in quality and finishing in a knit composite factory will be an added advantage.
∎ In-depth knowledge of fabric properties, manufacturing processes, and testing methods.
∎ Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to textiles and fabrics.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skill for effective collaboration with various teams and suppliers.
∎ A keen eye for detail and a passion for staying updated on the latest fabric trends and technologies.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ A knowledgeable person on fabric, its manufacturing, dyeing, printing, finishing & other relevant processes.
∎ Ensure proper quality of fabrics (From fabric sourcing to shipment of garments) as per buyer requirements & management instructions.
∎ Resolve fabric-related all kinds of problems as per buyers’ guiding & management instructions.
∎ Ensure that all test reports of fabric meet buyer technical requirements.
∎ Face buyers/ Auditors/ Inspections if needed to resolve fabric-related technical problem(s)
∎ Support on any fabric issues, starting from sourcing, development, sampling, base test, lab-dip/strike-off/handloom, bulk testing, appearance, handle and color approval, garment washing, garment dyeing, etc.
∎ Coordinate with the merchandising, Quality, Sourcing, and design teams to understand fabric requirements and specifications for various collections.
∎ Work with fabric suppliers and assess their capabilities to meet our demands (as per management guidelines).
∎ Evaluate fabric samples based on color consistency, hand feel, composition, shrinkage, durability, and other relevant properties.
