Job Context
The Fabric Manager is responsible for planning, supervising, and monitoring daily fabric operations to ensure timely production, quality consistency, and optimal use of resources. The role requires strong technical knowledge of fabrics, dyes, and shade matching to meet buyer standards and production targets efficiently.
Job Location: Factory
Job Responsibilities
Plan daily and weekly dyeing production schedules based on order priorities.
Supervise all dyeing operations to ensure production targets are met on time.
Select proper dyeing recipes, chemicals, and auxiliaries for different fabric types (cotton, polyester, blended).
Monitor dyeing machine efficiency and ensure optimal utilization of manpower and resources.
Ensure shade accuracy and color fastness as per buyer standards.
Coordinate with the lab for shade matching and bulk approval.
Take corrective actions for shade variations or re-dyeing issues.
Maintain production, chemical consumption, and shade approval records.
Prepare daily basis production report coordination with planning and dyeing factory.
Report machine breakdowns, production delays, and quality issues to higher management.
